Bryan Stork could soon be in the company of a former teammate.
On NFL Network’s NFL AM program Monday, fellow Florida State interior lineman Tre’ Jackson shared that he has a pre-draft visit lined up with the New England Patriots on April 12.
Jackson previously interviewed with the Patriots in February. And retired offensive line coach Dante’ Scarnecchia was in attendance for his Florida State pro day in March, as he, Cameron Erving, Josue Matias, Bobby Hart and Austin Barron all worked out up front.
Any one of whom could draw New England’s interest in the 2015 NFL draft later this month. It’s worth noting that Scarnecchia is close friends with Florida State line coach Rick Trickett, who worked with Stork, the 2014 Rimington Trophy winner, up until was selected in the fourth round last May.
The 6-foot-4, 330-pound Jackson appears to be one of the leading candidates this year, after starting 42 games for the Seminoles at guard. He was named an All-American last season, and earned first-team All-ACC honors in each of the last two seasons.
A Senior Bowl MVP and NFL Scouting Combine invitee, Jackson is projected as a second-round pick.
