Stevan Ridley’s free-agent road trip has started in the AFC East.
The 26-year-old Ridley has rushed for 2,817 yards and 22 touchdowns over the course of 649 carries and 52 games his NFL career. A total of 269 yards and two scores have arrived over the course of 77 carries and six games against the Jets.
Perhaps the 5-foot-11, 220-pound back won’t have to go against them for a seventh time.
A 2011 third-round pick by way of LSU, Ridley saw the final year of his rookie deal with the Patriots cut short with a torn ACL and MCL last October. He is one of only three unrestricted free agents still unsigned from New England’s 2014 team.
