Bill Belichick has determined that three practices will be enough.
The New England Patriots head coach has elected to cancel Saturday’s scheduled walkthrough at the Arizona Cardinals’ training facility, according to USA Today Sports columnist and pool reporter Jarrett Bell.
The Patriots held practices there on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, in preparation for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIX meeting with the Seattle Seahawks. Yet now, per Bell, New England will meet for only a picture at the team hotel in Chandler, Ariz., before going on their way Saturday.
It is a similar itinerary to the one Belichick turned to four years ago in Indianapolis, when the team forwent the final session of the week leading up to Super Bowl XLVI against the New York Giants.
