Walter J. Zable Field at Torero Stadium was home to the New England Patriots on Wednesday.

Preparing for Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers, the team suited up in shorts and shells at the nearby University of San Diego. But not all of the team was able to do so.

Second-year wide receiver Aaron Dobson, who played four snaps in Week 13 before injuring his hamstring running down the sideline, did not participate in the session, according to the official practice report. And neither did special-teams linebacker Chris White, who was inactive against the Green Bay Packers due to an ankle injury that designated him as questionable.

Defensive end Chandler Jones, however, did participate.

The 2012 first-round pick has been out with a hip injury since it transpired versus the New York Jets in Week 7, but Jones returned to practice last week as a limited participant for the team’s final three sessions. He was listed as questionable on Sunday and did not play.

Also limited was running back Shane Vereen (ankle), wideouts Brandon LaFell (shoulder) and Julian Edelman (thigh), offensive tackle Cameron Fleming (ankle), guard Dan Connolly (ankle), defensive lineman Dominique Easley (knee), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (shoulder), cornerback Kyle Arrington (ankle) and long snapper Danny Aiken (concussion).

Edelman and Hightower both played against Green Bay, yet both left the game with their respective injuries before returning.

Aiken, on the other hand, was among those who did not play at Lambeau Field, due to the concussion he suffered against the Detroit Lions the week prior.

Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) and swing tackle Marcus Cannon (hip) were full participants. Both were listed as probable on Friday.
