The New England Patriots will visit with USC tight end Randall Telfer next week, Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun and National Football Post reported.
Telfer has also visited the Philadelphia Eagles and has a private meeting scheduled with the Atlanta Falcons, according to Wilson.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound target caught 65 passes for 648 yards and 12 touchdowns over four seasons and 48 games with the Trojans. He appeared in 13 games in 2014, finishing his senior campaign 21 receptions for 197 yards and two scores.
Telfer benched 20 reps of 225 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine in February, but did not participate in the on-field portion due to a foot injury suffered during a 45-42 win over Nebraska in December.
He was also limited at the NFLPA Bowl and USC pro day.
The inline tight end is projected as a late-round pick or priority free agent in the 2015 NFL draft later this month.
