According to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Texas A&M tight end Cameron Clear has visits with scouts from the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns on Wednesday.
Clear’s pro day also arrived on Wednesday, after the 6-foot-5, 277-pound target caught nine passes for 76 yards and a touchdown over 24 games with the Aggies.
The 22-year-old spent his final two seasons in College Station, after being dismissed from Tennessee and transferring to Arizona Western Community College in 2012.
At the NFL Scouting Combine in February, Clear ran a 4.98 40-yard dash, a 4.48 short-shuttle, a 12.07 60-yard shuttle, also posting a 32-inch vertical and 108-inch broad jump.
The former four-star recruit and Memphis Central High basketball player is projected as a late-round pick or priority free agent in the 2015 draft.
He is the third tight end Patriots representatives have been in attendance to see since March 2, following the pro days of Minnesota’s Maxx Williams and Auburn’s C.J. Uzomah.
