Bryan Stork made his way off the field Saturday, but the rookie center was unable to make his way back on it Wednesday.
Stork’s name appeared on the injury report shortly after the New England Patriots’ full-pads practice inside Gillette Stadium. The starter was non-participant due to a knee injury suffered in the second quarter of New England’s divisional playoff win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Stork is joined on this week’s initial injury report by wideout Brandon LaFell, defensive tackle Chris Jones, linebacker Dont’a Hightower and cornerback Brandon Browner. All four were limited in Wednesday’s practice, after the Patriots finished last week’s practices with only three limited participants.
LaFell was able to play through the shoulder and toe injuries that left him probable for Saturday’s game against Baltimore, and he went on to catch the go-ahead touchdown in the process. But Jones’ elbow injury, Hightower’s shoulder injury and Browner’s knee injury all surfaced during the game.
Browner’s saw him leave in the third quarter. He watched the rest of New England’s 35-31 victory from the sideline.
Running back Jonas Gray (ankle) and Julian Edelman (concussion) did not watch any part of Wednesday’s practice from the sideline. The two were removed from the practice report after being limited throughout last week’s sessions.
Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) was also a full participant.
