LeGarrette Blount was removed from the New England Patriots’ practice report Thursday, after being limited with an illness Wednesday. But three others remained under that designation as the team gets ready to host the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round this weekend.
Fellow running back Jonas Gray, as well as wide receivers Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell were listed as limited participants in the session, which took place on the Gillette Stadium field where the temperature stood in the single digits.
Gray missed the final game of the regular with an ankle injury, while Edelman missed the final two games with a concussion and thigh injury. And LaFell injured his toe during the finale after being listed as questionable heading into it because of a shoulder injury.
Quarterback Tom Brady, who’s been on the injury report for the last several months with an ankle ailment, was a full participant.
The Patriots will have a walkthrough to close the week on Friday. All 53 players have been accounted for through the last two practices, which bodes well for a healthy active roster for Saturday’s 4:35 p.m. kickoff in Foxborough.
