Running back LeGarrette Blount and defensive tackle Dominique Easley did not participate in practice on Wednesday, but both did partake in the New England Patriots’ 24-13 win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

Blount, who totaled 66 yards rushing and 11 yards receiving versus San Diego, was not absent due to injury. The 6-foot, 250-pound back had a court appearance in Pittsburgh in the morning and did not make it back in time for the afternoon session.

As for Easley, who played nine snaps against the Chargers, according to Pro Football Focus, the management of his knee injury has left him limited in practice for much of the year. The rookie first-round pick was officially listed as questionable for Week 14, yet he has been able to play in all but two games for the Patriots this season.

Linebacker Chris White returned to practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday after an ankle injury kept him from playing on special teams for the last two games. He missed all of last week before being designated as doubtful leading up to the San Diego game.

Defensive end Chandler Jones and linebacker Dont’a Hightower, who were designated as questionable but missed Sunday night’s matchup, were listed as limited participants on the official practice report as well. Jones’ hip injury has kept him out since Week 7 against the New York Jets, while Hightower hurt his shoulder against the Green Bay Packers.

Also limited during the session was running back Shane Vereen (ankle), wide receivers Julian Edelman (thigh) and Brandon LaFell (shoulder), offensive linemen Cameron Fleming (ankle) and Dan Connolly (ankle), defensive end Rob Ninkovich (heel), and long snapper Danny Aiken (concussion).

Ninkovich is a new addition to the injury report.

Vereen, Edelman, LaFell and Connolly were also able to play through their respective ailments on Sunday. And so was quarterback Tom Brady, who was noted as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice despite a lingering ankle injury.

Offensive tackle Marcus Cannon (hip) and nickelback Kyle Arrington (ankle) have been removed from the injury report.
