This week could be the one for Chandler Jones.

The third-year defensive end has been a limited participant in the New England Patriots’ last six practices, after having missed the team’s last six games with a hip injury. Yet Jones is looking to be active this Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, despite being listed as questionable for the second straight week.

It would be his first appearance since the injury transpired against the New York Jets on Oct. 16.

Also officially listed as questionable to play on Dec. 7 is halfback Shane Vereen (ankle), wideouts Brandon LaFell (shoulder) and Julian Edelman (thigh), offensive linemen Cameron Fleming (ankle) and Dan Connolly (ankle), defensive lineman Dominique Easley (knee), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (shoulder), cornerback Kyle Arrington (ankle) and long snapper Danny Aiken (concussion).

All of whom have been limited in New England’s sessions at the University of San Diego since Wednesday.

Fleming and Aiken were held out of Week 13 versus the Green Bay Packers, while Edelman, Connolly, Hightower and Arrington were seen leaving the game to tend to their respective ailments.

Special-teamer Chris White was inactive.

An ankle injury designated the linebacker as questionable to play in Green Bay. And he is now designated as doubtful to play in San Diego, having not participated in the team’s practices this week.

Swing tackle Marcus Cannon (hip) and quarterback Tom Brady have participated fully and are probable.

As for the Chargers’ side, center Chris Watt (calf), offensive tackle D.J. Fluker (concussion) and linebacker Donald Butler (quad) are questionable.

Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET at Qualcolmm Stadium on Sunday.
