Chandler Jones took another stride forward on Thursday, joining his New England Patriots teammates as a limited participant for the second consecutive practice.

The 2012 first-round defensive end has not played since injuring his hip against the New York Jets in Week 7, but he returned for Wednesday’s walkthrough and was back on the field for the Thanksgiving session, albeit in a limited capacity.

Also listed as a limited participant on the team’s official practice report was halfback Shane Vereen (ankle), wideout Brandon LaFell (shoulder), offensive tackles Marcus Cannon (hip) and Cameron Fleming (ankle/finger), guard Dan Connolly (ankle), defensive tackle Dominique Easley (knee), linebacker Chris White (ankle), safety Nate Ebner (finger), and long snapper Danny Aiken (concussion).

The lone change among New England’s limited is White, who was added to the injury report on Thursday.

Wide Receiver Julian Edelman (thigh) and quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) practiced in full for the second day in a row.
